Do you suffer from dry hands? These are ways to easily get rid of dryness!

dry hands

6 tips to make your hands soft again

Washing our hands often is extremely important for our health, but it takes its toll in another area. Due to the intensive use of soap and water, many of us now walk around with dry or wrinkled hands. Fortunately, there are simple ways to get your dry hands soft and supple again. We have listed these below.

1. Make lubrication part of your washing routine

Wash your hands for twenty seconds, between the fingers and up to the wrist, and dry them with a clean cloth. The step-by-step hand washing routine has been well memorized in recent months. However, we recommend that you add an extra step: use a hand cream. Always have a jar of hand cream or vaseline ready near the wash basin and rub your hands every time after drying. This way they stay baby-soft.

2. Choose a hand cream without perfume and alcohol

Before you apply a hand cream, it is important to take a look at what kind of product you’re actually using. Hand creams with perfume and alcohol are not a good idea, because these ingredients can dry your skin even more. Ingredients such as honey, aloe vera and snail slime, on the other hand, are quite gentle on the skin. No hand cream at home? In general, face cream also works great on your hands. Finally, bear in mind that the sun’s rays can cause rapid aging of the skin, so for smooth and soft hands protect yourself by avoiding excessive exposure to the sun.

3. Take a beauty sleep

And by that we mean just at night! Coat your hands with a thick layer of cream and put on cotton gloves before you go to bed. The next morning you will notice how hydrated your hands are. You can find cotton gloves at the drugstore or pharmacy.

4. Warm your hands

Warm hands have better blood flow. This blood flow indirectly ensures renewal of the skin cells and a stronger connective tissue. Warmer hands therefore retain more moisture and dry out less quickly. So, occasionally shake your hands to start the blood flow, or rub your hands to warm them.

5. Do not use too many disinfectant gels

These gels usually have high levels of alcohol, which is intended to kill bacteria, but the alcohol also dries out your hands severely. Avoiding hand gel altogether may not be a good idea now that you want to sanitize your hands regularly, but choosing water and soap more often is better for your skin.

6. Wear household gloves

Washing your hands isn’t the only thing that dries out your hands. Household chores like washing dishes and cleaning windows have the same effect. For velvety hands, it is better to use household gloves, or of course, leave the dishes to your partner.

Clitoris plays a part in reproduction

A recent study claims that the female clitoris is vital for the reproduction process.

The review notes that stimulating the clitoris activates the brain to cause a combination of changes in the female reproductive tract that creates its readiness to receive and process sperm to achieve possible fertilisation of the egg.

These include enhancement of vaginal blood flow, an increase in vaginal lubrication, an increase in vaginal oxygen and temperature, and most importantly a change in the position of the cervix, the entrance to the uterus.

This change brings the cervix away from the semen pool and prevents semen from travelling into the uterus too rapidly, this allowing sperm time to become mobile and activates to fertilise the egg.

Therefore, the clitoris has both procreative ( reproductive( and recreative ( pleasure) functions, reported the study.

Removal of the clitoris- which is performed in some countries and cultures not only a sexual disability but also a possible reproductive disability.

The often repeated mantra, that the sole function of the clitoris is to induce sexual pleasure, is now obsolete, said the review's author.

The concept changes a major sexual belief and the physiological evidence is now obvious, he concluded.

The fat is obtained and prepared, then injected into the joint cavity of the osteoarthritic knee.
Injecting one's own fat into painful joints could be a radical new treatment for osteoarthritis, according to a new claim by surgeons.
In the trial carried out at the King Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia, the jabs, which provide lubrication inside the joint to improve function and reduce the pain and stiffness, are being given to 100 patients with moderate to severe knee osteoarthritis.

The small amount of donor fat is taken from the patient's own body, selected according to their own wishes and fat availability, with the entire procedure performed as daycare surgery under local anaesthetic and sedation.

During the surgery, the fat is obtained and prepared, then injected into the joint cavity of the osteoarthritic knee. Patients are discharged soon afterwards with antibiotics and painkillers, then followed up to see if joint function has improved and whether there is a reduction in pain and stiffness.

Lead researcher said that like a car gearbox, joints work best when they have good levels of lubrication, and it is normally provided by synovial, a thick gel-like material. In osteoarthritis sufferers, one element of this fluid, hyaluronic acid, does not work properly. Some research suggests improving lubrication with injections of hyaluronic acid. The researchers believe that a simple injection of fat will improve chronic osteoarthritis and they are using the self-lubricating effect of patients' own fat to improve function and reduce pain.

The trial results will be reported in the British Medical Journal in December
