A lemon, salt and pepper are all you need to solve these problems

lemon salt pepper

Pepper, salt and lemon: a miracle cure!

Pepper, salt and lemon may make a very tasty salad dressing, but can also be used for many other purposes. These three ingredients, combined or individually, can solve different ailments.

Combination of lemon, pepper and salt

Lemon juice is used in traditional medicine as a diaphoretic and diuretic, as a gargle, lotion and tonic. Salt is indispensable for the body, just like water and oxygen. Your body requires salt to function normally, however excessive salt can cause stress on the heart. It is better to use Himalayan salt instead of regular table salt. Black pepper has also been used as a traditional medicine for a long time. It is therefore not surprising that this combination can help in combating the following ailments.

1. Sore throat

You can get rid of your sore throat by adding 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice, half a teaspoon of black pepper and a teaspoon of salt to a glass of warm water. Gargle with this liquid.

2. Remove gallstones

The hardened deposits of digestive juices that are in your gallbladder are called gallstones. These gallstones can be painful and can interfere with your digestion. Combine three parts olive oil with 1 part lemon and 1 part black pepper in a glass. Drink this mixture. This can sometimes cause the gallstones to move.

3. Canker sores

If your health is not great, it is likely that you suffer from mouth ulcers. To cure this, place a tablespoon of Himalayan salt in a glass of warm water and stir. Rinse your mouth with this three times a day, and your ulcers will soon disappear.

4. Weight loss

Do you want to lose some weight just before Christmas? This is possible with the following drink: 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, and a tablespoon of honey in a glass of water. Drink this on an empty stomach every morning and you will lose weight fast!

5. Nausea

An upset stomach can be soothed with black pepper, while the lemon stops nausea. Therefore, mix a tablespoon of lemon juice and a teaspoon of pepper in a large glass of warm water and drink it slowly with small sips.

6. Colds and flu

Lemon can work wonders for a cold or the flu. Put the juice of half a lemon and the zest in a large mug of boiled water. Leave for ten minutes and remove the lemon zest from the mug. Drink this every day until you feel better.

13 Proven Natural Antibiotics That Don’t Require a Prescription

Antibiotics are a group of medicines that are used to treat infections caused by bacteria and certain parasites, and they are among the most commonly prescribed medications in the US.

Antibiotics are used to kill bacteria and they don’t differentiate between good or bed bacteria. As a result, every time you swallow antibiotics, you kill the beneficial bacteria within your intestines. Good bacteria in the gut help people in many ways, including helping make vitamins and boosting immunity. Some researchers think that killing them off with antibiotics may be contributing to an increase in chronic health conditions such as obesity, asthma and cancer. (1, 2, 3). If you do need to take antibiotics you should also take probiotics which will help to restore the good bacteria in your gut.
Nature has several other highly effective substances with antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties, all able to protect the human body safely and with deep healing powers.

Here are 13 natural antibiotics still in use around the world. I would like to note that this article is not intended to replace medicine, a doctor’s care or medical treatment.

1. Goldenseal is a Natural Antibiotic
Goldenseal is used by many people as a homemade antibiotic. Goldenseal is easily grown in the United States and has become a popular natural method of killing bacteria.

Medicinal uses of goldenseal include treating digestive problems, UTIs, eye infection and canker sores. It’s also sometimes mixed with echinacea to alleviate cold symptoms. The berberine found in it can destroy bacteria, parasites, and even strengthen white blood cells.
How to use goldenseal as a homemade antibiotic:

There are several forms of Goldenseal including pills, extracted liquid and glycerites. The most popular method of ingestion is mixing liquid extract to wash over your skin since it doesn’t absorb effectively when taken orally.

Precautions
Ask your doctor before taking goldenseal if you’re currently on any other type of medication. It may cause irritation of the skin and increase it’s sensitivity to sunlight in some users. Avoid using it if you have high blood pressure.

2. Oregon Grape (Berberine) is Anti-bacterial and Anti-viral
Oregon Grape (Berberine) is a natural antibiotic that functions like its close relative goldenseal. Medical practitioners are beginning to shift toward this herb because it’s less difficult to produce. The alkaloid berberine is the most effective ingredient in the root. It helps digestion and can kill a variety of harmful microbes that cause viral sickness.

Use – People tend to use this supplement in tincture or tea form. The root can be chopped into hot water and actually tastes pretty good thanks to the alkaloids.
Precautions
The dried root shouldn’t be exposed to much light or heat and should be thrown away after a year of storage. Some people experience nausea after the first few doses.

3. Andrographis Paniculata is a Strong Herbal Antibiotic
The root and leaf of this South Asian plant has a commonplace in relieving cold symptoms. It’s also been used to treat insect bites, hemorrhoids and a wide variety of infections. The active ingredient in most andrographis supplements is called andrographolide.

How to use Andrographis Paniculata as an herbal antibiotic:

The best bet for this supplement is to search for capsules and tablets containing no less than 20% andrographolide. Look at the recommended dosage on the label.

Precautions
Don’t use the product for longer than three months. If you experience diarrhea, upset stomach, or a headache stop taking it immediately.

4. Manuka Honey is Naturally Antibacterial
Some people call Manuka honey a natural penicillin because it’s naturally antiseptic.

Interestingly enough, this natural antibiotic comes from New Zealand bees that pollinate the Manuka bush. It can be used to repair infected tissue, reduce cholesterol and treat diabetes. Methylglyoxal is the compound identified as the active ingredient and primarily responsible for the antibacterial action of Manuka honey. The UMF (Unique Manuka Factor) level in Manuka products measures the concentration of methylglyoxal and should be no less than 10 UMF for medical benefit.

Use – You can apply Manuka honey directly to a wound or burn for optimal results.

Further reading: The 10 most amazing Manuka honey health benefits and uses.

Precautions
Manuka honey may elevate blood sugar or cause an allergic reaction. It also interacts negatively with chemotherapy medication.

5. Tea Tree Essential Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia) is Antimicrobial
Tea tree oil is extracted from the Melaleuca Alternifolia tree is now becoming a widely-used natural health remedy thanks to its versatility. The most recurrent use is treating cuts, acne, toenail fungus and infections.

Studies have shown that tea tree oil is antibacterial and it works effectively in both infection preventing and healing bacterial issues.

Use – You can find tea tree oil in many products such as hair products, lip balms, lotions, soaps, and pure essential oil. It shouldn’t ever be taken by mouth.
If you are interested to learn more about essential oils you can find useful information in my e-book Magical Aromatherapy. This book will help you to discover the power of essential oils and the most effective ways to use them.

Precautions
Test the oil on a small area of your skin to check for allergies prior to use.

6. Garlic is a Very Strong Natural Antibiotic
Studies confirmed that garlic is a very strong natural antibiotic that can also add flavor to your meals.

Garlic is used as an alternative to antibiotics because it fights heart disease, cold symptoms, boosts your immune system, and has effective antibacterial properties. Research found that some sulfuric compounds in garlic contribute to heart health, but the main medical component in garlic is allicin, a chemical that also contributes to its trademark smell.

Use – The most popular way to use garlic is by adding it to your dishes, eating it raw or in powdered form. There are also garlic oils, extracts, and freeze-dried tablets. Find more information in my articles how to use garlic as a medicine and avoid these 6 common mistakes when using garlic as an antibiotic.

Precautions
Some people who take too much garlic may experience a burning sensation in the mouth or stomach, heartburn, gas, nausea, vomiting, body odor and diarrhea. These side effects are often worse with raw garlic. Also garlic might prolong bleeding, so stop taking garlic at least two weeks before a scheduled surgery. It can also interfere with certain medications.

7. Echinacea can Fight off Infections
Native Americans have used echinacea as a way to fight off infections and treat injuries for over 400 years. Medical studies have confirmed that echinacea is an effective alternative to antibiotics.

Studies have revealed its ability to lessen pain, diminish inflammation, act as an antiviral and antioxidant. The glycoproteins, volatile oils, flavonoids, and alkamides in the root all help treat athlete’s foot, UTIs, ear infections, and injuries that heal slowly.

Use – Echinacea is available in tinctures, pills, extracts, and ointments. It’s commonly found in capsules and tablets mixed in with other natural health supplements. The root, leaves and flowers can also be steeped into hot tea. See here the recipe for echinacea tea to boost your immune system.

Precautions
Some supplement companies use misleading labels with products that contain very little echinacea so read carefully the product label. Avoid taking if you have diabetes, HIV, liver troubles or multiple sclerosis. Echinacea can also cause a rare allergic reaction in some people.

8. Pau D’Arco

This supplement is extracted from the wood and bark of the Pau D’Arco tree. Evidence suggests that Pau D’Arco can help treat intestinal worms, ulcers, yeast infection, and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). The main chemical extracted from the tree for medical purposes is called lapachol.

How to use Pau D’Arco as a homemade antibiotic:

Pau d’arco is sold as tablets, dried bark tea and tincture. The chemicals that give pau d’arco its medicinal effects don’t dissolve well in water, so a tea is not recommended.

Precautions
Exercise extra caution when using this natural antibiotic. High doses can result in serious diarrhea, nausea and internal bleeding. It interferes with medications that slow blood clotting, so talk to your physician before using a Pau D’Arco product.

9. Ginger

Ginger is a common staple in the culinary world that has a prevalent presence in holistic medicine as a natural antibiotic.

Ginger is considered an effective way to ward off nausea caused by motion sickness or pregnancy. The phenol compounds like shogaols and gingerols are the main medicinal component in the root that contribute to the anti-inflammatory benefits, as well as lowering cholesterol.

Use – Ginger is best known for its use as a spice in the kitchen. You can also find ginger extracts, tinctures, capsules and essential oil. A popular method is brewing hot ginger tea, and you can find in my previous article how to make anti-inflammatory and pain relief ginger turmeric tea. You can also find more information in my previous article on how to use ginger as a medicine.

Adding ginger to your diet is also one of the 70 habits featured in my e-book 70 Powerful Habits For A Great Health which will guide you how to take positive steps to improve your wellness and overall health.

Precautions
Pregnant women should consult with a doctor before taking a concentrated amount of ginger as in ginger supplement (ginger is considered safe when used in amounts found in food), and ginger should not be given to children under 2 years old.

Ginger may also interact with certain prescription medications. For example it may not be safe if you have a bleeding disorder or take blood-thinning drugs. Therefore talk with your doctor before taking it.

10. Olive Leaf Extract

Medical studies have confirmed that olive leaf extract has strong antibacterial activity.
The fruit, leaves, and seeds of the olive tree are packed with natural health benefits. Olive leaf extract can treat infections, both viral and bacterial, and also increases healthy bacteria in the stomach.

The polyphenol called oleuropein and fatty acids found in the plant are the main components in medical use.

Find more information in my article about the health benefits of olive leaf including how to make your own olive leaf tea.

Use – Olive leaf extract is most effective as a pill, topical cream, and liquid extract. It can be applied directly to the skin or consumed with a suggested maximum dose of 60g per day.

Precautions
Generally it’s one of the safest options on this list. The pollen created by the plant will sometimes irritate people with seasonal allergies.

11. Oil of Oregano is Naturally Antimicrobial

The leaf of the oregano plant has been used for a variety of medical purposes. Scientific studies have shown that oregano oil has antimicrobial and antioxidant properties. Oregano oil also has antiviral properties.

Its main use is in respiratory health by treating symptoms of coughing, asthma and bronchitis. When the carvacrol is extracted from oregano it has the potential to fight off parasites, eliminate bacteria and alleviate acne.

Use – Oregano oil can be mixed with hand sanitizer, vaporized into the air, rubbed onto the skin, or taken in pill form. 600 mg a day is sufficient for stomach parasites.

Precautions
Oregano is relatively harmless when found in recipes for cooking. In medical amounts it can cause upset stomach if too much is taken and can interfere with medications containing lithium. Also pregnant women should avoid taking it. There’s also potential for allergic reactions.

12. Turmeric (curcumin)

A relative to ginger, turmeric has a lineage of antibiotic use.

It’s been suggested to help with stomach ulcers, indigestion, heart disease, and viral as well as bacterial infections. The curcumin found in the root of the plant is the main source of antioxidant and antibiotic benefits.

Use – Turmeric root can be consumed raw but is most commonly dried and powdered. The powder can either be ingested in a drink, sprinkled onto food, or simply found in a capsule. There are also tinctures dissolved in alcohol and liquid extracts of turmeric. Find more information in the article about the health benefits of turmeric, including a recipe for a golden milk.

Precautions
Turmeric is considered a generally safe herb but when used too much it can cause an upset stomach and even ulcers. If you have surgery scheduled within two weeks turmeric should be avoided because of the blood thinning properties. Also taking turmeric by mouth in medicinal amounts is likely unsafe in pregnancy.

13. Virgin Coconut Oil

The saturated fats found in coconut oil contain antibacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal and anti-parasitic properties which strengthen your immune system. Coconut oil can further benefit the skin by treating and preventing skin infections and also helps in treating various skin problems such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis and many more.

Coconut oil has anti-microbial properties which help to fight indigestion-causing bacteria, fungi and parasites, and has been effectively used to prevent and cure candida. Some of the most promising research in recent years has been in the area of using lauric acid or monolaurin, both derived from coconut oil, in treatments for antibiotic resistant super germs.

One medical study was conducted at Georgetown University in 2005 and found the these substances in coconut oil can inhibit the growth of many pathogenic microorganisms. (54) Lauric acid in coconut oil in combination with oregano oil, has even been found more effective in fighting the staph bacteria than antibiotics.

Find more information in the article about the many health benefits of coconut oil.

Use – Coconut oil can be added to smoothies, hot drinks, stir fries, baked goods or as a spread on a toast.

Precautions
Always opt for organic, virgin coconut oil and avoid all the refined stuff. Coconut oil is safe for most people if used in amounts commonly found in foods, and despite the many health benefits of coconut oil, like many things in life, moderation is the key. This means that up to 3 tbsp. daily per adult is an appropriate dose.

Mother Nature gives us great natural alternative to antibiotics – next time the you feel unwell try these natural alternatives to antibiotics. if you are pregnant or breastfeeding please consult with your doctor before using any of these herbal antibiotics.

Creative Uses For Plain Yogurt

First of all, let’s talk about choosing a yogurt. When making face masks and other beauty products, choose a plain, whole-fat yogurt. You want all of those fats and oils to treat your skin. If you’re looking for a snack, however, I would choose a plain Greek yogurt. Greek yogurt has nearly twice the amount of protein of regular yogurt. It also has about half the sugar, carbs, and sodium.
Whichever yogurt you have on hand…here are some creative ways to use it you might not have thought of before!

Heal Blemishes
This Yogurt and Honey Face Mask exfoliates your skin, heals blemishes and even brightens complexion. Plus, it’s made with only four ingredients that you probably have in the kitchen!

Fade Age Spots
Because of the lactic acid, plain yogurt is one of these 10 home remedies for age spot

Treat Sunburn
Yogurt also makes a great remedy for sunburns! Spread a thin layer of whole-fat yogurt on your skin, let it sit for at least 10 minutes, and then take a cool shower to wash it off. The yogurt soothes the sunburn and feels cooling, while the probiotics and enzymes actually start to heal sunburns.

Ease Tummy Troubles
Because yogurt has probiotics, eating it regularly will keep your digestive system regular and your immune system strong.

Canker Sore Remedy
The bacteria in yogurt helps fight canker sores, so eat just a few spoonfuls of yogurt everyday to keep canker sores away!

Homemade Tzatziki Sauce
Peel a cucumber, slice it lengthwise, and scoop the seeds out. Dice the cucumber, add it to 1 cup of yogurt, some minced garlic, a bit of fresh dill, and squeeze in some lemon juice to make your own tzatziki sauce! It’s a great veggie dip, chicken marinade, or even a spread for sandwiches!

Quick & Easy Fruit Dip
Mix Greek yogurt with your favorite chocolate syrup for a quick and easy fruit dip.

Make Cheese!
To make your own cheese with yogurt, place some plain yogurt in a colander with 4 sheets of cheesecloth, and put it in the fridge overnight. In the morning, it should be the texture of a soft cream cheese – it makes a delicious spread for crackers!

Mayo Substitute
Choose plain greek yogurt for your creamy topping instead of sour cream or mayonnaise. You’ll hardly notice the difference, but you’ll be avoiding a lot of fat!

Edible Finger-paint!

And last, but not least, you can finger-paint with yogurt! Just add a drop or two of food coloring to about a 1/4 of plain yogurt to make your paints. Set up on a sheet of wax paper and get coloring! It’s a fun afternoon activity, but I wouldn’t suggest keeping the yogurt-drawings.

Many Uses For Hydrogen Peroxide You’ll Want To Know About

I always thought that hydrogen peroxide can be used only for your face bleach ! Glad that it has n number of uses.

1) Fruit & Veggie Wash

Wash vegetables and fruits with hydrogen peroxide to remove dirt and pesticides. Add 1/4 cup of H2O2 to a sink of cold water. After washing, rinse thoroughly with cool water.

2) Toothpaste

Use baking soda and hydrogen peroxide to make a paste for brushing teeth. Helps with early stages of gingivitis as it kills bacteria. Mixed with salt and baking soda, hydrogen peroxide works as a whitening toothpaste.

3) Dishwashing Booster

In the dishwasher, add 2 oz. to your regular detergent for a sanitizing boost. Also, beef up your regular dish soap by adding roughly 2 ounces of 3% H2O2 to the bottle.

4)Appliance Cleaner

Wipe out your refrigerator and dishwasher. Because it’s non-toxic, it’s great for cleaning places that store food and dishes.

5) Mouthwash

Use hydrogen peroxide as a mouthwash to freshen breath. It kills the bacteria that causes halitosis. Use a 50/50 mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water.

6) Sponge Sanitizer

Clean your sponges. Soak them for 10 minutes in a 50/50 mixture of hydrogen peroxide and warm water in a shallow dish. Rinse the sponges thoroughly afterward.

7)Food Stain Dissolver

Remove baked-on crud from pots and pans. Combine hydrogen peroxide with enough baking soda to make a paste, then rub onto the dirty pan and let it sit for a while. Come back later with a scrubby sponge and some warm water, and the baked-on stains will lift right off.

8)Toothbrush Sanitizer

Soak your toothbrush in hydrogen peroxide between uses to keep it clean and prevent the transfer of germs. This is particularly helpful when you or someone in your family has a cold or the flu.

9) Kitchen Cleaning

Clean your cutting board and countertop. Let everything bubble for a few minutes, then scrub and rinse clean. (I’ve been using it for this a LOT lately!)

10) Grout Whitener

Whiten bathtub grout. First dry the tub thoroughly, then spray it liberally with hydrogen peroxide. Let it sit — it may bubble slightly — for a little while, then come back and scrub the grout with an old toothbrush. You may have to repeat the process a few times.

11)Toilet Cleaner

Clean the toilet bowl. Pour half a cup of hydrogen peroxide into the toilet bowl, let stand for 20 minutes, then scrub clean.

12) Floor Brightener

Brighten dingy floors. Combine half a cup of hydrogen peroxide with one gallon of hot water, then go to town on your flooring. Because it’s so mild, it’s safe for any floor type, and there’s no need to rinse.

13) Stain Remover

Remove stains from clothing, curtains, and tablecloths. Hydrogen peroxide can be used as a pre-treater for stains — just soak the stain for a little while in 3% hydrogen peroxide before tossing into the laundry. You can also add a cup of peroxide to a regular load of whites to boost brightness. It’s a green alternative to bleach, and works just as well.

14)Toy Cleaner

Clean kids’ toys and play areas. Hydrogen peroxide is a safe cleaner to use around kids, or anyone with respiratory problems, because it’s not a lung irritant. Spray toys, toy boxes, doorknobs, and anything else your kids touch on a regular basis.

15) Plant Doctor

Help out your plants. To ward off fungus, add a little hydrogen peroxide to your spray bottle the next time you’re spritzing plants.

16) Lunch Box Sanitizer

Sanitize your kids’ lunch boxes/bags.

11) Hair Highlighter

Add natural highlights to your hair. Dilute the hydrogen peroxide so the solution is 50% peroxide and 50% water. Spray the solution on wet hair to create subtle, natural highlights.

12) Bath Soak

According to alternative therapy practitioners, adding half a bottle of hydrogen peroxide to a warm bath can help detoxify the body. Some are skeptical of this claim, but a bath is always a nice way to relax and the addition of hydrogen peroxide will leave you – and the tub – squeaky clean!

13) Salad Keeper

Spray a solution of 1/2 cup water and 1 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide on leftover salad, drain, cover and refrigerate. This will prevent wilting and better preserve your salad.

14) Skin Saver

Dab hydrogen peroxide on pimples or acne to help clear skin.

15) Seed Sprouter

Hydrogen peroxide helps to sprout seeds for new plantings. Use a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution once a day and spritz the seed every time you re-moisten. You can also use a mixture of 1 part hydrogen peroxide to 32 parts water to improve your plants’ root system.

16) Whiten Linens

Remove yellowing from lace curtains or tablecloths. Fill a sink with cold water and a 2 cups of 3% hydrogen peroxide. Soak for at least an hour, rinse in cold water and air dry.

17 Ear Wax Remover

Use it to remove ear wax. Use a solution of 3% with olive or almond oil. Add a couple drops of oil first then H2O2. After a few minutes, tilt head to remove solution and wax.

18) Humidifier Cleaner

Use 1 pint of 3% hydrogen peroxide to a gallon of water to clean humidifiers and steamers.

19) Foot Helper

Helps with foot fungus. Spray a 50/50 mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water on them (especially the toes) every night and let dry. Or try soaking your feet in a peroxide solution to help soften calluses and corns, and disinfect minor cuts.

20) Shower Curtain Cleaner

Wash shower curtains with hydrogen peroxide to remove mildew and soap scum. Place curtains in machine with a bath towel and your regular detergent. Add 1 cup full strength 3% hydrogen peroxide to the rinse cycle.

21)Shower Spray

Spray down the shower with hydrogen peroxide to kill bacteria and viruses.

22) Fish Tank Treatment

Use hydrogen peroxide to control fungi present in aquariums. Don’t worry, it won’t hurt your fish. Use sparingly for this purpose.

23) Towel Treatment

Use for towels that have become musty smelling. Add 1/2 cup peroxide and 1/2 cup vinegar to washing machine, let soak for 15 minutes wash as normal. Gets rid of the smell.

24) De-Skunking Solution

Combine 1 quart 3% hydrogen peroxide, 1/4 cup baking soda, 1 teaspoon Dawn dish detergent, 2 quarts warm water. Work the mixture onto the affected animal (or human). Don’t let this mixture sit too long on animal fur, or the hydrogen peroxide could lighten the color of the fur!

25) Canker Sores

Use hydrogen peroxide to help heal painful canker sores. Swish a tablespoon or so of hydrogen peroxide around your mouth for about 10 minutes, to help disinfect the area and reduce inflammation.

26) Cleaning Glass

Screw a spray bottle top right onto your bottle of hydrogen peroxide, and use it like you would a bottle of Windex to clean glass and mirrors. It’s surprisingly effective, and streak-free!

27) Stain Remover

Treat stains from organic matter like blood, sweat, coffee, and wine. Spray hydrogen peroxide onto the stain and rub it in to help release the stain. This works best with fresh, wet stains, and may bleach some dark fabrics. Test in an inconspicuous spot beforehand to make sure.

28) Bathroom Cleaner

Hydrogen peroxide makes an effective and affordable mold and mildew cleaner! Spray down the surfaces in your bathroom that are affected by mold or mildew, and allow it to sit for several minutes. The gunk should be easy to remove, and the hydrogen peroxide leaves it disinfected as well!

29)Whiten Fingernails

If you paint your nails a lot, you’ve probably already noticed that your nails can yellow over time. Get rid of the yellow tinge by applying a cotton ball soaked in hydrogen peroxide to each affected nail. Let them sit for a few minutes until the stains disappear. Make sure to apply a lotion or cuticle cream afterwards, since hydrogen peroxide can be rough on skin.

30) Clean Contact Lenses

Hydrogen peroxide-based cleaning solutions for contact lenses, such as Clear Care, are actually more effective a cleaning your contact lenses than traditional multi-purpose solutions. Hydrogen peroxide effectively dissolves lipids and proteins, leaving your contact lenses super clean!
However, the reason these products come with special cases or tablets to add is that the hydrogen peroxide needs to be neutralized through a chemical reaction before you can wear the contacts again. Otherwise you’ll be in for some very unpleasant eye sensations! So make sure to follow all of the directions that come with your hydrogen peroxide-based contact cleaner!

31) Cooler Cleaner

Pop a spray top on your bottle of hydrogen peroxide, and use it to clean and disinfect the inside of your coolers and ice chests.

32) Shopping Bag Saver

You can also use your spray bottle of hydrogen peroxide to clean your reusable shopping bags! You’ll feel a lot better bringing home fresh produce in a disinfected bag. Collect all your nonporous reusable bags (usually the ones made of recycled plastics), spray them down, and wipe them clean. Reusable bags that are more fabric-y can be thrown right into your washing machine.
