AVOID THESE THINGS IF YOU CARE FOR YOUR HEART
We all know well that heart is one of the most important organ of our body, as if it stops beating, we're dead. Poor organ keeps beating non-stop like a clock without a break to keep us alive. So, we'ld also make good effort to care for it, by avoiding certain things.
1) Watching too much television- excessive sitting can put you at increased risk of suffering a heart attack or stroke. Make sure you walk around periodically and make it a point to stand up, rather than site, for certain activities.
2) Don't ignore the snoring- If you happen to snore to the point where it interferes with your sleep, you may have sleep apnea, which can cause your blood pressure to spike. Be sure to talk to your physician if snoring is affecting you.
3) Flossing your teeth.- Flossing is essential for preventing gum disease, which causes inflammation in the body that can lead to atherosclerosis, which is a disease of the arteries. Make flossing a regular habit.
4) Strengthen connections- While some alone time is essential, be sure to take the time to strengthen and build connections with family and friends. People who do so tend to live longer, healthier lives.
5) You have an all-or-nothing mentality- life isn't about one extreme or the other- it's about finding a middle ground that works for you. For instance, commit yourself to exercising regularly rather than committing to exercising for the long haul.
6) Limit your alcohol- the negative effects of excessive alcohol consumption are too numerous- but do your best to drink no more than 2 drinks per day, if you're a man, and no more than 1 per day if you're a woman ! ( there also gender bias !)
7) Everyone can be at risk- cardiovascular disease, including stroke, heart disease and heart failure claims more live than any other illness, including cancer in some countries.
8) Reduce red meat consumption- Red meat is best thought of as an occasional treat as opposed to the foundation of your daily diet. It is high in saturated fat. Aim to have just 10 % of the food in your diet coming from animals and animal products.
THIS IS ONLY FOR INFORMATION, ALWAYS CONSULT YOU PHYSICIAN BEFORE HAVING ANY PARTICULAR FOOD/ MEDICATION/EXERCISE/OTHER REMEDIES.
