11 simple health tips that are recommended for anyone of any age, to deal with various health issues or just to boost your own natural well being!

1: Go Herbal

If varicose veins are your problem, a good idea is trying horse chestnut, an herbal extract that studies have reveals will strengthen the veins and reduce swelling. It is also available in tropic creams, although the effect is not as powerful. 

2: Sip Oolong Tea
According to research, those suffering from mild eczema are advised to drink Oolong tea 3 times a day for itching and other symptoms. The active ingredients in the tea are called polyphenols.


3: Rub Your Temples


This is old advice, but few seem to follow it. Use some peppermint oil, tiger balm or white flower oil  to rub your temples with gently but firmly, to prevent headaches or stop them before they become too painful. 
 
 4: Keep Capsaicin Cream on Hand

If you suffer from sore muscles and/or joints, a good idea is to apply any ointment or cream containing capsaicin, the active ingredient in Chile peppers, 2-3 times a day. The heat contained in these peppers has been proven to help relieve pain.


5: Get a Good Pair of Sneakers
When your energy is lagging, the worse you can do is drink coffee or an energy drink. You may not feel like it at first, but a brisk walk, or even a run, will do wonders for your energy levels, and the more you walk, the better you will start to feel. Remember, being a bit exhausted is very different than feeling tired, and it lets you maintain your good mental state. Get up from your work chair and walk up and down the office stairs for five minutes - you'll feel much refreshed!

7: Embrace The Bitter Taste

When you have a hankering for something sweet, fight it by following an ancient Chinese medicine approach: Consume foods such as endive, radicchio, cooked greens, and olives.


8: Go Fish

We all know seafood is healthy. Salmon, sardine and mackerel contain the all important omega-3 fatty acids, which the body utilizes to create tears, among other important things. According to research, people consuming larger amounts of these essential fats are less likely to suffer from eye dryness. 


9: Eat Bananas

A diet rich in potassium may protect you against high blood pressure, one of the biggest killers of our times. In addition to reducing your salt intake and taking other heart healthy measures, try consuming potassium-rich foods( only if your kidneys are functioning fine) such as bananas, cantaloupe and oranges.


10: Love Lavender

To relieve your stress and prepare for a really good sleep, take a hot bath and add a few drops of lavender essential oil. Feel the tension ooze out of your pores while you listen to some relaxing music for extra effect.


11: Take Some Ginger


Ginger contains dynamic oils which make it a very handy herbal remedy for nasal and chest congestion problems. The best way to use: boil water and pour two cups of it over a 1 inch piece of peeled, grated ginger. This you steep for 10 minutes and strain. Then add a few pinches of cayenne pepper to the water and drink
