Few tips to keep Alzheimer's away

Making few changes and adjustments to your simple lifestyle could help you protect against Alzheimer's.
According to health experts, taking few steps towards healthy lifestyle could protect you against heart disease, stroke, cancer and dementia.
The health experts suggested their advice following the warnings that rates of the deadly brain disease will triple in the next 40 years if preventive measures are not taken on time.
Increasing scientific evidences in recent times has revealed that by following a specific diet and exercise routine one could reduce the risk of developing dementia by more than half.
Leading researcher  launched the seven guidelines at the International Conference on Nutrition and the Brain . These are as follows:
  • Practising exercise on daily basis, consuming plenty of vegetables, beans and pulses and limiting bad fats can prove key factors.

  • The guidelines says vegetables, fruits, legumes like beans, peas, and lentils and whole grains should be included in daily staples along with a handful of nuts or seeds as source of vitamin E.

  • People are also recommended to get adequate amount of vitamin B12 daily either from milk and eggs or any efficient supplement that meet their daily need.

  • Dr. also suggests to avoid the use of cookware, antacids, baking powder, or other products that may add aluminium to the diet, although its role remains unclear.

  • At last, he advises for regular aerobic exercise, equivalent to 40 minutes of brisk walking three times a week.
