Statins lowers risk of fatal prostrate cancer
According to a new study, men taking cholesterol lowering drugs was linked to a lower chance of dying from prostrate cancer. It doesn’t mean that the statins ward off aggressive cancer. But they agree with previous studies suggesting that getting cholesterol levels under control might help reduce the risk of life threatening disease.
Though taking those medicines may be good for the heart, but it is also good for their prostrate.
