What is 'Turmeric'?

Native to the Indian subcontinent, turmeric is used as colouring and flavouring agent in several Asian cuisines. While making your tea, add a pinch of turmeric and let it boil with your usual tea leaves in the water. Relax with a cup of hot turmeric tea.

To relieve fungal pain
I had a fungal nail ( big toe), physician prescribed some expensive nail polish to get relief. I had absolutely no relief. So, I decided to try my own therapy. I made a paste with turmeric powder and Listerine ( mouthwash), I started applying on the nail, after drying well after my bath. Voila, got relief within 2 days from pain.

To get relief from Shingles
just apply the paste with turmeric and Listerine, not only will your itching stop, also pain and it will dry up quickly. I had shingles, I applied, I got relief, I can assure you, as it is safe, no harm.

I use turmeric with garlic for relief from cough and phlegm
Earlier it is mentioned about turmeric milk, since I'm COPD, most of the nights  I boil about 300 ml milk with 1/4 tsp of turmeric and 2-3 garlic pearls finely chopped, I simmer for about 25 minutes, till garlic is well cooked and milk has reduced to almost half. Add little sugar and drink as hot as possible before going to bed. You'll get great relief from cough and phlegm.
