Best foods to control blood sugar and reduce belly fat
Aerated Drinks
Right from sweetened juices to aerated drinks, if you are a diabetic avoiding all these processed drinks is the key to manage weight as well as regulate blood sugar. Packaged drinks are high on fructose, which spike the sugar level and add on to the belly fat.

Fats
Healthy fats derived from natural resources are good for diabetics and can help in lowering the sugar level and reducing belly fat. However, processed foods leads to building up of belly fat and further increases the sugar level. Hence, it is often advised to go for food products that are rich in omega 3 fatty acids.

Bread

Breads are easy to eat and prepare, but are high on carbs and low in fiber. Especially, white bread made with refined flours can increase sugar level. In fact, regular consumption of white bread can add on to the belly fat. In fact, going for brown or multigrain bread is a better option for sugar patients.

Raisins
Raisin is a major ingredient for most cakes, chocolates and desserts, well no matter how much we like raisins assuming that they would be as healthy as grapes is a big mistake. In fact, the dried variant has more concentrated sugar, which not only increases the sugar level but at the same time can add on to the belly fat due its sugar content.
