LAUGHTER IS THE BEST MEDICINE
Like apple a day, laughter daily keeps you happy and healthy. A hearty laugh will rejuvenate you, boost your immunity, lower your blood pressure, above all, laughter will keep your wrinkles away, as we use more muscles to laugh !
1) Heart health- Having a hearty laugh helps the heart to pump better and it is ideal for people who are bed-ridden and can't walk. Laughter lowers the blood pressure, thus reducing the risk of people having heart attack. We all know high blood pressure is due to tension, depression, anxiety. So, at least have a hearty laugh couple of times a day. I know that in some major metros, they're having laughter club, where in the mornings, they meet in some play ground, clap their hands and laugh heartily.
2)Boosts immunity- Our immunity gets affects by high stress levels, anxiety and depression. Stress again boosts our blood pressure. But when we have a good laugh, T-cells are activated, which boosts our immunity.
3) A good hearty laugh helps to activate those muscles, which contract and relax like when we do exercise. It is similar to a moderate work out, helping to burn some calories !
4) Endorphins - Our body's natural pain relieving hormones are released. This helps to get relief from acute pain as well ! Above all, when we laugh, we feel good, we forget about our aches, our problems, feel lighter. With improved moods we work better and faster !
