CAUSES OF SLEEPINESS THROUGHOUT THE DAY
Though many of us go to bed on time, get up in the usual time, still feel sleepy throughout the day, why? Maybe as one doesn't get sound sleep due to various reasons.
1) Lack of sound sleep- This can happen due to sleep apnea or insomnia. Some or not able to sleep as once they get up to go to relieve themselves at night, find it difficult to get back to sleep. When has dreams, also one feels they've not slept soundly and feel tired.
2) Chronic fatigue- Fatigue can happen due to various health conditions, if one is anemic, or suffers from cancer, hypothyroidism, rheumatism- when the constant pain, makes one feel tired.
3) Depression is a big problem now. People get depressed due to professional, health or other problems. Due to job insecurity, some get into depression, or when one has heart problem or any other incurable disease, they easily get into depression, if they're not positive.
4) Diabetes- When one suffers from diabetes, one has to get up a number of times to visit the loo, so they've very disturbed sleep, it makes them tired. Added to that diabetics get cramps, due to loss of magnesium due to frequent urination, which again leads to disturbed sleep.
5) Watching some horror movie or serial- when one watches a horror movie, just before going to bed, their mind isn't at rest, as they get flashback about the scary scenes, then those who are not brave, imagine themselves in those scenes, get scared, and lose their sleep !
Always try to find the cause of your problem and see how best to overcome by it by avoiding all those things which can disturb your sleep. Go to bed after some meditation, drink enough water, so you're hydrated well. Never think of your problems before going to bed, remember that if there is no solution to some problems, there is no point in worrying about it. God knows what is best for us, so leave it to God to decide the best, that faith in Almighty will make you relaxed to sleep well.
