A Technique That Quickly Gets Rid of a Sore Throat
I wish I
had discovered this technique for relieving a sore throat earlier on in
my life, it would have saved me the expense of doctor visits and
antibiotics. In this video clip below, Dr Berg, a chiropractor and
expert in using nutritional and natural methods, shows you how to
relieve a sore throat quickly, without resorting to any pills or herbs.
He uses acupressure on certain points located at the back of your neck
to get rid of a sore throat in mere minutes.
A Step-By-Step Guide
Relieve your sore throat in two minutes by following these five simple steps:
Step 1: Rate your pain on a scale of 0 to 10 (0 signifying no pain, 10 being the worst).
Step 2: Locate the point (at the front of your neck) where you feel pain in the throat. Draw an imaginary circle from the sore throat to the back part of your neck.
Step 3: Press an equal amount of pressure on the points at the back of your neck, doing so for two minutes. To ensure that you are on the correct points, you should feel a tight, stiff and ridged area while you are doing this. You will also notice that the exact opposite point, where the sore throat is, will be extremely tender.
Step 4: While applying pressure you may need to adjust the points by moving upward or downward until the stiffness has loosened up. For a second time, rate the pain in your throat.
Step 5: Repeat this technique for as many times as required over the next week or two until the pain has completely subsided.
