Diabetes more fatal for women
Diabatologist interacting with the mediapersons in a press conference informed that
diabetes in females is more fatal than men hence the women should adopt
proper food habits, do regular exercise and keep themselves any kind of
depression. Dr. said, that symptoms of type-I and type-II diabetes
remain same in men and women but some symptoms and complications are
found only in women. Dr. further said that diabetes has not
relation with poor or rich but it can grip anyone whose lifestyle is not
systematic and proper. He said, there is lack of awareness about
diabetes in the society as people ignore its symptoms. Cause of around
40 percent cases of diabetes is delay in treatment and poor financial
condition of people.
Dr. said, that yeast oral infection, itching and pain, urinary tract infection and polycystic ovary syndrome like problems occur in women suffering from diabetes. Women as well as the doctors could not see the symptoms connecting with diabetes consequently either the patient remains unaware about the disease or face wrong treatment. It came to fore in several studies that women patients are more prone in comparison to men in the cases of heart, kidney failure, high blood pressure etc. Study also done about heart diseases in women and it came to fore that there are multiple chances of it in comparison to men. Diabetic pregnant women face different problems during pregnancy and it also affects the health of infant.
