Dehydration can cause various problems, as it leads to electrolyte imbalance. Very often, people aren't aware that they're dehydrated. Hence, it is important to know the various signs of dehydration, so that you can quick action to overcome its adverse effects.
1) Unable to concentrate on anything, leading to confusion-Since the human brain is 90 percent water, water deficiency can have a negative impact on a person’s thinking abilities and decision-making skills. Dehydration is shown as forgetfulness, amnesia, difficulty in thinking and communicating. It has been found that dehydration can lead to mood swings.
2) Headaches- it is one of the most common symptom of dehydration, as it leads to less fluids around the brain. That fluid is essential as it acts as a buffer to protect the brain from shocks. It can cause migraines, irritation headaches, due to reduced flow of oxygen and blood to the brain.

4) Craving for food suddenly- People often think they're hungry, when actually they're thirsty and tend to over-eat. But, actually, a glass of water or two is what we actually need at that time.
5) Digestive problems, mainly constipation- Water is needed to hydrate all the tissues in the body. It helps to keep our gastro-intestinal tract clean by regulating our bowel movement, this preventing constipation.
