Helpful Hormones Flow When We Exercise
An
exercise-induced hormone called irisin, circulates in the blood at nanogram
levels and increases during exercise. This is helpful, as it is one of the main reason why we'ld exercise regularly. When the level of this hormone, irisin, increased in mice, their blood and metabolism also improved. In a new research, it was found that human irisin is similar to that found in mouse. Though irisin circulates at low levels, its range is comparable to that of other biological hormones like insulin. It was wondering to scientist as to how irisin is produced. But with the new techniques, it showed that the human hormone uses a rare signal ATA ( start codon) to start the production of irisin. More studies are necessary to know how this irisin relates to brown and beige fat tissue and energy use. So, let us hope for the best, as exercising will never harm us, can only benefit by burning our calories and benefiting from the good hormones that are produced at that time. Also exercise keeps our body supple and regularly exercising will benefit greatly in old age, when we can still bend down to pick things that we tend to drop down often, can lift your hands to wear your clothes comfortably and so on.
