ANTIBIOTICS - WHEN TO GIVE?
When kids are down with flu, bad cold, ear infections, flu, bronchitis,do not at once give them antibiotics, as all of these are usually caused by viruses. Antibiotics, when used, destroy good gut bacteria in their developing intestines. This in turn, harms their immune systems. Researchers feel that ever increasing use of antibiotics may be what is causing more cases of allergic asthma to sky rocket. When your child comes down with cold, flu or upper-respiratory illness, ask of antibiotics are really the answer. as often less of medication is better.
