Alfalfa Seeds

These are best taken as sprouts. These are useful in liver diseases, detoxification of blood, anemia, ulcers, colitis, arthritis & fluid retention. they're very useful in reducing blood cholesterol & blood sugar levels. they're also known to be useful in cancer prevention & have anti-fungal properties.

Never eat alfalfa seeds without sprouting, as they contain high levels of the toxic amino acid ( canavanine). Long time consumption of these seeds, can result in impaired functioning of the platelets & white blood cells. 
pregnant & nursing women should consult their physicians before using them.
