This Is How Grandma Used to Fight Off a Cough and Cold

Cold and flu season is upon us! Most of us try our best to avoid the flu by looking for ways to stay healthy and to get better as quickly as possible when any nasty bug gets in our system. While there are many tried and true cold medicines, most taste simply awful. And, when you're already feeling sick, forcing a spoonful of something you do not like is possibly not the best way to go about it. In addition, many of these cold and flu medicines may leave you feeling drowsy.
