Foods You Should Eat During Monsoon, According to Ayurveda

According to Ayurveda, the wonder herb- ginger pacifies aggravated vata in the body, which may be a common concern during monsoon. It also keeps the body energetic, aids digestion.

Mint is a coolant, a natural decongestant, which helps battle colds and flu.

Moong dal pacifies the air and fire element in your body and will help you achieve a balanced temperament. It is full of vitamins and minerals and easy to digest.

Bottle gourd/ lauki/ chauraikai is highly alkaline which keep your digestive system active. It is good for diabetes too. Make juice of bottle gourd, drinking it also aids weight loss and helps asthma too.

Turmeric protects you from sore throat, fly, cough and cold during monsoon. It is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, which helps arthritis too. You can have turmeric / golden milk,  which helps sore throat.
