Mouth irritation after having nebuliser ? No more !

Being a COPD, I've been on nebuliser and inhaler since more than a decade. Till now, all that the pulmonologists told me was that I should wash my mouth well after having nebuliser / inhaler. My voice has gone hoarse, which many of my 6 decades old friends noticed, who have been in touch with me recently, thanks to Whatsapp.

Now, I was hospitalised, not for COVID or for COPD, but due to urinary infection was running high fever and of course wheezing. Told them that I need nebuliser thrice/ 4 times a day and also inhaler twice. I saw the nurse adding something else along with my repsules, I asked her, she said adding about 8 drops of saline water to your repsules will stop irritation of the throat after having nebuliser. I started doing it, I found that there is hardly any irritation.

Hope this helps all those who are regularly using nebuliser and inhaler. God bless all with good health.
