A diet must be a combination of all the essential nutrients required to keep the body healthy and fit. Vitamin D is one of the many vital nutrients. It is the vitamin that is produced in the skin when it comes in contact with sunlight. It is important for the body because it helps to ward off diseases such as flu, cardiovascular diseases, bone-related diseases. Maintaining bone health is one of the prominent functions of vitamin D as it helps in the absorption of calcium from the food. Low amounts of vitamin D in the body can lead to its deficiency. Some of the common symptoms of vitamin D deficiency include:

  • Feeling an unhealthy amount of fatigue and aches.
  • Experiencing the weakness of muscles.
  • Weakened bones that are more prone to ache or fracture.

An excess amount of intake of even the healthiest things can end up being unhealthy for the body. Water is considered to be healthy and its intake is associated with keeping the body hydrated and healthy. However, a surplus of something as healthy and essential as water can be harmful as well. Drinking too much water can lead to lowered levels of sodium in the body. This can further result in a condition known as hyponatremia, the symptoms of which include fatigue, nausea and puking.

It can also result in the development of calcium stones.
