3 Simple tests to find out how safe is the milk you consume
Test 1
put a drop of milk on a slanting surface- pure milk slows slowly with a white trail, while adulterated milk with water flows faster without a mark
Test 2
detergents in milk
in 2 bottles pour pure and adulterated milk and equal amount of water, close the bottles and shake both vigorously for some time, then pour in 2 glasses- pure milk forms a thin layer of foam, while adulterated with detergent forms dense lather.
Test 3
Starch in milk
take some boiled milk with equal amount of water in 2 glasses, add a few drops of tincture of iodine in both, if the milk is pure, colour doesn't change, even when you stir it, but the adulterated one turns blue indicating the presence of starch !
