Step 1
Wash and chop wheat grass. Place in a blender with lemon juice, sugar, black salt, salt and four cups of water. Strain and serve chilled with lots of ice.

Pomegranate pearls 1/2 cup
Juice of 2 sweet limes

Roasted cumin powder a pinch

Step 1
Blend together melon pulp, pomegranate, sweet lime juice, black pepper powder, cumin powder, and salt till smooth.
Step 2
Strain and serve with crushed ice.

Lemon Grass Spa Drink – to detoxify and rehydrate -
Lemon grass is diuretic in nature which benefits greatly in removing toxins from the body and maintaining good digestive health. It also keeps your immune system strong because of its high vitamin C content. This recipe calls for club soda but using lemon juice instead will give greater detoxifying results.Ingredients
Lemon grass stems 4 4-inch
Lemon grass 4 sticks
Ginger 3 inch
Sugar 8 tablespoons
Lemons 2
Drinking soda bottles 3
Step 1
Heat 4 cups water in a non-stick pan. Roughly chop lemon grass stem and add to the water. Cut ginger roughly and add to the pan. Add 4 tbsps sugar and simmer on medium heat for 15-20 minutes.
Step 2
Cut each lemon into 8 pieces each and put into a glass. Add 4 tbsps sugar and crush with muddler. Remove the lemon seeds and discard. Strain the mixture into another bowl.
Step 3
If you wish you can keep the lemon grass mixture overnight to infuse and strain the next day into the bowl with lemon-sugar mixture.
Step 4
Put some of the mixture into each glass. Put some ice cubes. Fill up the glasses with drinking soda and mix.
Step 5
Serve chilled with a lemon grass stick in each glass.

Milk 4 cups
Green apples roughly chopped 2 medium
Ripe bananas peeled and roughly chopped 4 medium
Step 1
Place kale leaves in a blender jar. Add milk, apples and bananas and blend till smooth.
Step 2
Pour into four tall glasses and serve chilled.

This traditional Indian winter drink has been around for ages and for all the right reasons. Try this recipe with a healthier twist of beetroots and amla. Carrots 4 large
Beetroot 1 medium
Salt 3 tablespoons
Red chilli powder coarse 1 1/2 tablespoons
Mustard powder coarse 4 tablespoons
Step 1
Scrub carrots and beetroot and wash under running water. Peel and cut into batons.
Step 2
Take carrot and beetroot batons in a bowl. Add salt, coarse red chilli powder, coarse mustard powder and mix. Add eighteen cups of water and stir.
Step 3
Cover the bowl with a muslin cloth and tie it round the rim. Let it stand in the sun for three to four days.
Step 4
When ready chill in the refrigerator and serve chilled.

Step 1
Peel bananas and roughly chop them. Halve figs. If the outer skin of any fig is a bit thick, peel it away. Put both the fruits into a blender jar, add yogurt and blend till smooth.
Step 2
Add ice cubes and honey and blend again. Pour into stemmed glasses. Garnish with walnuts and serve chilled.

Cumin seeds 1 tablespoon
Lemon juice 2-3 tablespoons
Ice cubes as required
Step 1
Put the bottle gourd, amla, ginger, mint leaves, salt, black salt and cumin seeds in a blender. Add one cup of water and blend it for two to three minutes.
Step 2
Add another cup of water, lemon juice, ice cubes and blend it for another two to three minutes. Strain into individual glasses and serve chilled.

Put jaljeera powder, kala khatta syrup, little chilled water and ice cubes in a Boston shaker. Cover tightly with the lid and shake well so that the ingredients get well blended.
Step 2
Pour into individual glasses. Slice lemon. Top the glasses with soda, stir and serve chilled garnished with lemon slices.

tender coconut flesh ½ cup
Green tea 4 tablespoon
Ice cubes 24-32
Lemon juice 4 tablespoon
Honey 8 tablespoon
Step 1
Boil 2 cups water in a non-stick pan, add green tea and mix till it infuses. Switch off heat.
Step 2
Take 4 tall glasses and put 6-8 ice cubes in each glass. Add 1 tsp lemon juice, 2 tbsps honey and some coconut flesh.
Step 3
Strain the green tea into a bowl, add coconut water and mix well.
Step 4
Pour the green tea-coconut water mixture into the glasses and serve chilled.
