Health Benefits of Cucumber
Cucumber contains 96 % water. It keeps your body hydrated and its cooling effect helps you fight the summer heat. it is also a good source of fibre, magnesium and potassium.
It can be eaten raw, as a salad with onion, tomato, radish with lime juice, salt and pepper.
Another cooling and healthy recipe is to mix it with curd/ yoghurt, salt, pepper powder and lime juice, when you have a mixed vegetable rice, biryani or even a vegetable/ any stuffed parantha. One can eat it plain, if one is dieting with some walnuts, a bowl full will make you feel full.
