Coriander seeds good for lowering LDL cholesterol


Coriander seeds are rich in 2 main compounds- linaloon & decanoic acid. It has a long history in traditional medicine, with cholesterol lowering & blood sugar lowering effects. Several studies on animals have demonstrated a reduction in total cholesterol, LDL & an increase in HDL. Corander seed powder is an essential ingredient in Indian cuisine, but for therapeutic benefits, a teaspoon or 2 of coriander seeds soaked overnight & consumed in the morning is helpful for people with heart disease & diabetes.
