Here is a simple combination of three leaves that when consumed empty stomach every morning can do wonders in controlling diabetes and hypertension.
Tulsi leaves
Tulsi
is called the Queen of Herbs and protects our body from various
diseases. Multiple studies have shown that consumption of tulsi leaves
on an empty stomach has shown to lower blood glucose levels in people
suffering from type 2 diabetes.

Note: Tulsi contains a high amount of mercury and iron, which is released when we chew them. These minerals can damage the teeth and cause discolouration. Tulsi leaves are acidic in nature, which can cause tooth enamel to wear away when consumed in very large quantities.
Thus, it's best to blend these leaves in a mixer with some water and then have it.

patta leaves, also called meethi neem in Hindi is a common ingredient
used in Indian cooking. The leaves do not only add aroma to your food
but also have various health properties.
Regular consumption of curry leaves can help in stimulating the insulin-producing cells. These cells help in keeping the blood sugar level in check.
Neem leaves
Neem
leaves also have various health benefits. There are evidences that show
consuming neem leaves daily can lower blood sugar levels. If you have
diabetes, monitor your blood sugar level regularly as too much
consumption can cause your blood sugar levels to go too low in some rare
cases. In this case, it might be necessary to lower your diabetic
medication.
The antihistamine effects of neem leaves can cause blood vessels to dilate. This is why these leaves can help lower blood pressure.
Taking neem extract or capsules for a month can also lower the high cholesterol levels.
