How To Calm Or Relax Vefore Bed-Time

If you suffer from anxiety, chances are you have a hard time going to bed. To reclaim your sleep, drink a cup of banana tea before bedtime. This has high levels of both magnesium and potassium in the peel.
 How To Make Banana Tea
Start off by scrubbing and washing one organic banana. Then, cut off both ends of the banana and place it, peel and all, into boiling water. Using a colander, pour the water into a mug. If you're feeling adventurous, sprinkle the cinnamon into the tea

Should I use fresh or dried banana peels to make tea?

It’s up to you.  You can use a fresh banana peel, or a peel that has been placed in the freezer until you need it, or peels that you chop and dehydrated to use like you would any loose tea.

If you want to dry them, just chop them up and place them in a dehydrator at 155 deg.F for 6-8 hours. One banana usually makes about 3 tablespoons of dried peel, which is what I use to make a single cup of tea.
