For the analysis, there were 18 randomised controlled trials (RCT) to assess the impact of 100 percent juice from fruits like pomegranate, apple, citrus, berry, and grape. The bio-markers for the diabetes risk was fasting blood glucose and fasting blood insulin levels. The systematic review and meta-analysis got done for the study.
Furthermore, the researchers also shared that around 120-millilitre glass of 100 percent juice is similar to the half cup of fruit.
