COLON CLEANSING FOODS

Colon cleansing is important for various reasons. One, many bacteria thrive in it and makes us sick. It is also the place where toxins being accumulated leads to weight gain. Almost 30 pounds of weight can be lost with good cleansing of one's colon !

Salt Water Flush
sea salt 2 tsp
hot filtered water 1 litre
lime juice optional

Water should be hot but not boiling hot.
Add salt and lime juice if used in a jar, mix well.
Try to drink the mixture slowly within 5 minutes
Lie on your sides and massage your stomach.
If you can hold the salt solution in for at least 30 minutes, it helps the body to absorb the salt.
You may feel the urge to visit the washroom, if so, don't hold back.
You may need to visit the bathroom more than once, if so, good, as it will help all the toxins to come out and make you feel lighter.

Best Colon Cleansing Foods are-
 Eat Fermented Vegetables
Consume more probiotic-rich foods - e.g. curd, buttermilk
Eat Apples- Cleanse the colon with Pectin 
Avocados- Fiber rich and contain Potassium and Magnesium- flush out colon from toxins. 
Flax Seeds or Sprouted Flax (loaded with Omega 3 fatty acids) 
Triphala- Herb used in India and Asia as a tonic to support colon function
