Lymphoedema- treatment

when one undergoes surgery for breast cancer, one can develop swelling in one's arm. One should know that active treatment for this swelling, 'lymphoedema' is possible & should be ideally begin early to get effective relief. It should ideally start soon after surgery. So, always be aware of what to ask your doctors when you've surgery, especially what treatment, exercises are needed to keep you in shape. Never feel shy to ask questions, as it concerns your life, especially if you want to lead a pain free one.
