For soft calluses free feet

If they're not exfoliated, calluses can become a feeding ground for brevibacterium, the same microbe that gives Limburger cheese its infamous scent. When it breaks down the proteins in flaking skin, sulfur-rich amino acids are released, along with the offending odor. Problem areas include the soles of the feet and between the toes, especially when they're wet, since bacteria thrive in moist environments.

Fix it: Treat yourself to a monthly pedicure. In between appointments, soften your heels in the shower by rubbing them with a pumice stone or foot file. Try Dr. Scholl's For Her Exfoliating Stone File ($5; drugstores). Afterward, massage with a rich foot cream.
