How 75-year-old Dr Natasha Vita-More survived cancer thrice and stays young doing these two things

At 75, Dr. Natasha  Vita-More stands as an example of how ageing doesn’t have to mean slowing down. In a YouTube episode by Sierra Clark, she opened up about her health journey, from surviving multiple cancers to building a daily lifestyle that keeps her strong, active and mentally sharp. Her story is not just about survival, but about conscious choices.

Three battles with cancer

Natasha’s health journey hasn’t been without hardship. She survived bladder cancer in 2001 and later dealt with skin cancer in 2020 and again in 2023. As she explained in the interview, the ageing body can bring such challenges, but her focus has always been on doing everything possible to recover and stay well. Today, she remains cancer-free and her example shows how persistence and self-care can make a real difference.

A mindset that doesn’t quit

One of the most striking parts of Natasha’s story is her attitude. She admitted to breaking down when arthritis or a failed workout left her frustrated. Yet instead of giving up, she made a conscious choice to “ keep on moving and suck it up”. This mindset, accepting discomfort and treating it as a part of growth, is what she believes keeps her both physically and mentally resilient.

Movement that builds strength and flexibility

For Natasha, exercise is non-negotiable. She relies heavily on Pilates, a practice she considers essential for maintaining flexibility and good posture.

The focus on core strength, she says, allows her to move confidently, even as ageing tends to shrink posture and mobility. Alongside Pilates, she lifts weights and stays active most days of the week, proving that consistent, simple movement matters more than extreme routines.

Nutrition: Simple, flexible and mindful

Her approach to food is practical. She usually skips breakfast, preferring mornings for reflection and journaling. Her first meal, often salmon, avocado, cucumber and kale is centered around protein and vegetables. While she avoids excess carbs, she doesn’t deny herself small pleasures like ice cream or chocolate. Natasha believes balance is key” eating mindfully, cooking food gently to preserve nutrients, and listening to the body’s needs.

Supplements chosen with care

Natasha’s supplement routine is not random. After discovering a vitamin K deficiency, through a nutritionist’s hair test, she now includes vitamin K alongside B complex, vitamin D, calcium and omega-3s. for her, supplements are a way of addressing specific needs rather than following trends.

Evenings of joy and connection

Her evenings are just as intentional as her mornings. She enjoys dinners with her husband, watches lighthearted shows, and sometimes dances in the living room. For Natasha, laughter and shared moments are just as vital to longevity as exercise or nutrition.
