Now Make Your Own Eyeliner at Home with Natural Products
Love to line your eyes on a daily basis?
Did you know that the store-bought eyeliner you typically use is filled
with preservatives like lead, aniline, turpentine, and thimerosal? While
these commercial eyeliners may help your eyes look beautiful, they are
not worth the risk to your well-being. Fortunately, there’s a simple
solution – homemade eyeliners.
If you want to keep things natural, DIY
eyeliners should be the way to go. Not only will these eyeliners save
you money, but they’re also safe to use, as they contain rich
all-natural ingredients that are friendly to the skin. Moreover, making
your own DIY eyeliner will most certainly be cost-effective. The best
part about homemade eyeliner is that it is super simple to make. Today,
we will show you three amazing eyeliner recipes that you can easily make
at home.
1. Beeswax and Coconut Oil Eyeliner
This is a great eyeliner recipe that uses
beeswax and coconut oil. Beeswax can create a protective layer on the
skin and has anti-inflammatory properties too. Its moisturizing
ingredients are incredibly hydrating to your lashes and will promote
hair growth and prevent hair breakage.
Ingredients
* 1/16 teaspoon beeswax
* 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil
* 1/4 teaspoon distilled water
* 2 activated charcoal capsules
* 2 drops of vitamin E oil.
Steps
1. In a saucepan, add beeswax and oil. Heat on medium until melted.
2. Remove from stove and pour into a small container.
3. Now add the activated charcoal and vitamin E oil.
4. Gently add the water. Mix well until you reach the desired
consistency.
This liquid eyeliner can be applied with an eyeliner brush. It will last
for about a month.
2. Activated Charcoal Eyeliner
Activated charcoal is the basic ingredient
used in any homemade black eyeliner recipe. It’s a fine black powder
made from charcoal that can be easily found at drugstores in capsule or
powder form. For this simple eyeliner recipe, we will combine activated
charcoal with distilled water.
Ingredients
* 1/2 teaspoon (2 capsules) activated charcoal
* 1 teaspoon distilled water.
Steps
1. In a small bowl, add activated charcoal. Then add the distilled
water.
2. Mix well until a paste is formed. Store in an airtight container.
3. Cocoa Powder Eye Liner
If you're bored of using black eyeliner and
want a different dark shade for your lashes, then try this cocoa powder
eyeliner. It helps create that rich brown liner and gives your eyes a
different look.
Ingredients
* 1 tablespoon of organic cocoa powder
* 2-3 drops of water or rose water
* 2 teaspoons coconut oil.
Steps
1. In a small bowl, add a tablespoon of cocoa powder.
2. Now, add the rose water and coconut oil and mix well. Keep the
consistency as thick as a gel. Store in an airtight container.
Note: Use a clean brush while making any of these recipes to ensure you
don’t introduce any bacteria to the mixture.
