While some patients recover from COVID easily without severe symptoms, there are a few who struggle with long COVID and prolonged side effects, weakness, and brain fog.
Several studies since the pandemic’s start have linked post-COVID complications to a high risk of heart diseases, vasculitis, and others. However, when a patient struggles with long COVID, there is a particular sensation that may linger on your skin for months.
Can long COVID give skin complications?
Several people who struggle with long COVID complain of a strange tingling sensation on the skin even after recovery. Besides tingling, patients also report numbness and prickling if sitting in the same position for too long.
