Myth: Antiperspirant and Deodorant Cause Breast Cancer

A widely-circulated Internet story claims that chemicals in these toiletries are absorbed through the skin and can interfere with lymph circulation, causing toxins to build up in the breast and result in cancer. There’s absolutely no science behind this.  Several studies in the last decade have failed to establish a link between breast cancer and antiperspirant and deodorant use.
